Religion is very often cultural, not spiritual. It includes a lot of man-made traditions and ideologies. Religion often hurts people, ostracizes people, and confuses people.
Guilt compromises and damages your relationship with God. You might stop going to church, reading the bible or praying consistently. Freedom from guilt and condemnation is absolutely necessary for living a victorious Christian life.
You are fit for service! However, we don’t always feel that way, because the weight of guilt and condemnation cloud our view of God’s love, plans and purposes for our lives. God has already forgiven you. So, suit up, gather your courage and launch out into the wonderful will of God for your life.
In this life, we have lots of needs. We focus mostly on our financial needs, because rent and car notes are always due, and a multitude of other bills for basic living. In our struggle to get more money, we often lose sight of God’s ability to provide all that we need.
Just as God formed the world with his words, we also have the ability to shape our lives with the creative power of God’s word.
Being under the mighty hand of God is confusing, because we do not quite understand what is happening to us. Our lives seem hard for no reason. But, as we are humbled or brought low, God is preparing us for the exaltation of blessings he has arranged for our lives.
During one of my ‘episodes,’ I told God, out of mild frustration, that I couldn’t really hear what He was trying to say to me and the words “come closer” very gently came to my spirit.
You’ve been doing well for a while now. You’re taking heed to your conscience telling you to get right, join church, and seek God personally. Inevitably, however, you will be tested in your new-found faith and Christian lifestyle.
Are you listening to people or following people on social media who are mocking God? This message is a warning to you and an eye-opener, because you might not even realize that you are supporting or complicit in mocking God.
