Guilt compromises and damages your relationship with God. You might stop going to church, reading the bible or praying consistently. Freedom from guilt and condemnation is absolutely necessary for living a victorious Christian life.
Unfortunately, we often feel stuck in our Christian growth due to feelings of guilt and condemnation. We often distance ourselves from God when we feel wrong or ashamed for something we have done.
Guilt and condemnation keep us stuck in the memories of our past wrongs. These emotions distance us from God, and separate us from true freedom and abundance in Christ.
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? You might have heard this question before, but not quite understood what it meant. As Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we’d like. High hopes can end in disappointment for no explicable reason. Weathering storms like these wouldn’t be so bad if others weren’t watching, but they are.
You need to be saved from your wrong behavior (sins) and wrong thoughts. “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard” (Romans 3:23-24, NLT) .
Why did I stop dating? Because it was not working for me. As a Christian woman, the ROI was too low for me to keep dating as the world defines it. Instead, I broke the cycle of casual, shallow dating in my life to seek intimacy with God.
If you are interested in accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, read and listen to the 7 steps of salvation. Aligning your soul with the principles of Christ is rewarding.
You are fit for service! However, we don’t always feel that way, because the weight of guilt and condemnation cloud our view of God’s love, plans and purposes for our lives. God has already forgiven you. So, suit up, gather your courage and launch out into the wonderful will of God for your life.
