Meekness or being humble is not a sign of weakness! It demonstrates quiet strength of character without being loud, boastful or power-hungry.
You must restrain yourself from overindulging in anger, food or any other addiction that plagues you. Being able to rule your emotions brings peace and blessings.
Faith is difficult, because it is based on things we cannot see. Faith requires us to believe without physical evidence or proof that something has occurred. Faith must grow by degrees in our lives; not all at once.
Kindness or gentleness is more than a personality quality, or an outward demeanor, but an action, much like love. Have you ever performed a random act of kindness?
How does the fruit of peace develop? Through chaos and distress! We must focus on the things
of God to remain stable and relaxed.
You must have a personal relationship with God to bear good fruit. Apple trees produce apples. Can people look at you, hear you or look at your social media pages and tell you are a Christian?
Patience or long-suffering is essential to serving people. We must work to avoid getting irritated during delays or when people’s behavior tax us.
What is joy? The joy of the Lord does not rely on circumstances. The basis of our joy is trust
in God. Our ability to express joy is the evidence of the Holy Spirit working within us.
