The Mike Todd Quandary | Settle Your Spirit

Mike Todd Quandary blog post

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.

— Galatians 6:1 (NLT)

Pastor Michael Todd has been a polarizing figure in the Christian church world for several years.
People love to hate him and his live action demonstrations of the word of God. In fact, people have
developed entire social media channels to criticize his style of preaching, wardrobe, and just
everything about him. All of this is unbiblical. To tear down another brother or sister in Christ
(although problematic) is demonic, since satan himself is the accuser of the brethren.

With humor, bible scriptures, sound teaching, common sense, and insightful explanations, Ashan R. Hampton breaks down the arguments against Mike Todd, which are very similar to the Pharisees’ problems with other prophets and vessels of God, including Jesus (as the ministering son of man on earth). And there lies the quandary. What Pastor Todd is doing now has been done before, especially by Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Jesus. So, how should you mentally process Mike Todd? What is the answer? Listen to find out and settle your spirit once and for all!

READ THESE BIBLE SCRIPTURES:

Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. — Romans 12:3 (NLT)

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. — Galatians 6:1 (NLT)

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. –Revelation 3:19-21 (NLT)
