“So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf.” — Exodus 32:3-4, NKJV
A response to the Bishop Wooden “Church Girl” controversy. What’s the big deal? Beyoncé sampled a gospel song by Twinkie Clark who he called a ‘real church lady’. He attacked Beyoncé in vicious patriarchal terms, demonized her and stated she sold her soul to the devil among other ridiculous allegations. His attack was anti-Christ, because Jesus loved women, healed them and would never berate them their person and womanhood.
Buckle up! This fiery message explores why this is dangerous rhetoric that could keep church folks from heaven and how idolatry has infiltrated the church. Christians need to repent, abandon their idols and return to Jehovah God.
