What is repentance? It means to change your wrong behavior. This simple concept is often loaded with guilt and condemnation, because of how people interpret sin. However, repentance is the best thing you can do for your life right now while you still have breath. Look at the world around us…mass shootings, natural disasters, toddlers shooting each other, club shootings…stop doing the wrong thing, and return to God! We cannot assume we have time to change later on, once we get older. We cannot keep telling young people they have time to party, have sex and kick it, then grow out of it and get right with God. Young people are dying in droves, because no one is teaching them the ways of God, and the right things to do. We cannot test God’s grace. Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand!

Matthew 4:17:  From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Change your hearts and lives, because the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Acts 3:19:  So you must change your hearts and lives! Come back to God, and he will forgive your sins. Then the Lord will send the time of rest.

Romans 6:23: The payment for sin is death. But God gives us the free gift of life forever in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 10:26-27:  If we decide to go on sinning after we have learned the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins. There is nothing but fear in waiting for the judgment and the terrible fire that will destroy all those who live against God.
